Austin Weekend Fun

Last weekend a bunch of long-time lady friends took a weekend trip to Austin, Texas to celebrate a dear friends bachelorette party. Austin is known for it's food, music and "weirdness", hence we had a blast!

Some of us hadn't seen each other in some time, so it we had such a great time catching up. I really love these girls.

A fun neighborhood brewery. Such a great find and the beer was awesome!

Kindergarten Lunchtime Favorites | Part 2

Last week I was lucky enough to volunteer at Noah's school during his lunch hour. Since I work full time it's not something I get to do often so I was really excited about it.

I'm so curious about what goes on at school during class and his lunch hour since it's so challenging to get any information out of a 5 year old. Everything is "good" or "ok".

The hubby and I will make Noah's lunch each night, however we do allow him to purchase hot lunch at school once a week. This gave me the perfect opportunity to see what his hot lunches looked like and to experience the whole lunch hour routine at school.

It was interesting to say the least.

Here are a few of Noah's recent lunches.

Next we have the school's hot lunch: Cheeseburger sliders, an apple and some type of frozen fruit slushy (Someones lunch box made it into the picture as well). He seems to like it but after looking at it, I'm 100% happy to continue making his lunch each night.

2015 Halloween Treats & Printables

Making fun gift bags and treats is something I love to do and this Halloween was no exception.

Browsing Pinterest is my cup of tea and also my go-to website for inspiration for most of my projects. Here's what I came up with this year.

Noah's Kindergarten class treat bags - I created these fun Halloween labels on PowerPoint. They were so much fun to make. Inside each bag are kisses with tiny labels that I taped onto each kiss & plastic spider rings. I found the little kiss labels on Pinterest which led me to a website with the printable.

Elliot's Daycare treat bags - Here's another label I created myself this year for Elliot's friends at his daycare. Inside each little spider web Ziploc are pumpkin candies, candy corn, mini mazes, pumpkin erasers, kisses with mini tags, glow in the dark teeth and a spider ring.

I'm so happy today to share my printables with you for the first time. If you'd like to download either tag template, please click here for the PDF.

Happy Halloween!!

Pacific Northwest Adventures

We just got back from another awesome trip to the Pacific Northwest. We visited some dear friends and welcomed the cooler temps outside. It was such a nice change to the heat we've been having here in the Bay Area.

We had a blast and can't wait to go back!

Kindergarten Photos

We recently got back Noah's Kindergarten photos and I just love them. He's such a handsome little guy and growing up way too fast!

He's doing great in school and we couldn't be prouder of him.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

We hit up Uesegi Farms over the weekend with my sister & Dad and had a great time! It was crowded so I don't recommend going on a Saturday, but fun was still had.

They have 2 train rides, a carousel, petting zoo, hayride, pumpkin weigh off, food vendors, live music, two corn mazes and our personal favorite, the pumpkin blasters.
